In order to provide patients with an option for concierge 24/7 emergency and urgent care,  Dr. Basile is delighted to announce an affiliation with Sollis Health. Sollis Health is a private, membership only, 24/7 emergency and urgent care care provider with current location in Palm Beach, New York City, and Los Angeles with outposts in Miami Beach and the Hamptons. Membership includes unlimited access for 1 year at any of their locations. Services at the Sollis facilities include emergency physician/provider evaluations, onsite imaging, lab work, IV treatments, and other services. Health Insurance:  Executive Membership is not an insurance plan nor does it replace the need for health insurance.  While health insurance is not a requirement for patients within the practice, we strongly encourage patients to have at least catastrophic coverage.   Please provide our office with your insurance cards (primary, secondary and prescriptions) at the time of registration.  Having current insurance information is important when referring patients to specialists, placing lab or radiology orders and obtaining authorizations for prescription drug coverage or other testing .  Update our office immediately if your insurance information changes.

We are not on any insurance plans and are opted out of Medicare.

Dr. Basile is an internist with a specialty in hypertension and kidney disease. To date, Dr. Basile is entering her 24th year as a physician in Palm Beach County. Yes, a nephrologist can also be an internist. Some medical doctors like Dr. Nicole A. Basile have chosen to specialize in both nephrology and internal medicine, allowing her to provide comprehensive care for patients with kidney-related problems as well as other medical conditions. Dr. Nicole A. Basile is considered dual-specialized or dual-trained, and she has completed training in both nephrology and internal medicine. By having expertise in both areas, Dr. Nicole A. Basile can offer a unique perspective and a more comprehensive approach to patient care in a concierge, private setting.

Nicole A. Basile, M.D. is originally from Roanoke, Virginia. Dr. Basile is a graduate of Duke University and Eastern Virginia Medical School where she graduated with the highest honors known as AOA and was awarded the Alumni Award. She served as a clinical instructor in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at The Ohio State University for 5 years prior to moving to Florida. While practicing medicine in Palm Beach County for over 20 years, she have worked in various settings including private practice and The Jupiter Island Clinic. Dr. Basile has been recognized by Palm Beach Illustrated as a Top Doctor. 

Dr Nicole A. Basile previously served on the boards of Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center and Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies of Palm Beach. Presently, she serve on the Corporate Board of Jupiter Medical Center and a board member of the Bilgrav School for Dyslexia as she is an active advocate for dyslexia education.

Office Hours:   8:30 to 4:00pm Monday thru Friday.  Dr. Nicole A. Basile also offers appointments before and after hours as needed.

Contacting Dr. Basile is possible via telephone or email.  If you need to reach Dr. Basile during business hours, please call the office at 561-475-5700.  Practice members are given the doctor’s personal cell phone number which should be reserved for medical matters that arise during non-business hours or for an inquiry that cannot wait until the next business day. For medical emergencies, call 911.

We are a private pay concierge medical practice. We cannot guarantee that your insurance plan will cover the cost of any procedure or prescription.  Upon request, a team member will be happy to provide you with claim forms for office visits and supporting documents to assist you with self submitting claims to your health insurance.

Enrollment is limited to a controlled number of members. The number of patients /members to the medical practice will be limited so that Dr. Basile may offer a high level of personalized care in a private, un-rushed setting.  

Telemedicine involves utilizing technological advancements in communication to offer immediate virtual medical attention and distant clinical assistance to patients. On the other hand, telehealth encompasses the use of technology, such as video conferencing, to perform non-medical healthcare tasks like administrative discussions, billing, training and education.

Dr. Basile offers telemedicine appointments via video conferencing. Telemedicine appointments are ideal if a patient is unable to come to the office or has an immediate need for medical attention. Dr. Basile does prefer to conduct in office medical exams when possible when treating her patients.

The annual retainer generally cannot count towards the patient's deductible or toward an insurance's annual out-of-pocket maximum expense.

This medical practice does NOT take the place of general health insurance coverage. We are a primary care medical practice, not a health insurance program. You are advised to continue your Medicare or other insurance programs.

All labs, X-rays, hospitalization and other medical services are not provided for and are performed by outside independent entities.

Dr. Basile has opted out of the Medicare program effective on January 12, 2023 and all commercial insurance plans. Member are required to pay the fees for healthcare services which are not Membership Plan Benefits at the time of services. Dr. Basile is not excluded from participating in Medicare Part B. Members who have Medicare can still use their insurance for covered services such as Medicare Home Health, receiving covered DME equipment and during hospitalization.

The current 2023 acceptable standard for how often and when to get a colonoscopy is based on individual risk factors. For people at average risk, screening should start at age 45 and repeat every 10 years if normal. For those with an increased risk, earlier and more frequent screening may be recommended. It's important to talk to a doctor about individual risk factors and to follow the recommended screening guidelines to catch colon cancer early and improve chances of successful treatment.

Aside from colonoscopy, there are other screening options available, including stool-based tests such as ColoGuard and FIT (fecal immunochemical test). These tests are generally recommended every one to three years, depending on the specific test and individual risk factors. However, it's important to note that these tests are not as accurate as colonoscopy and may not detect all cases of colon cancer or precancerous polyps.
